The above labels are all originally made in Sweden. They are the so called "Trummer brands", named after Trummers, the agents for the British Commonwealth for the Swedish Match Co.
When, in 1930, the importation of foreign matches into Australia was forbidden, Bryant & May commenced negotiations with the Swedes for the right to produce the Trummer brands and the agreeement was signed in early 1931.
