ROSKILDE FESTIVAL

Roskilde Festival blev etableret i 1971 efter inspiration fra
bl.a. Woodstock, USA, 1969 og Thylejren i 1970.
I de første år bestod festivalen af én scene. Festivalen havde mellem 10.000 og
30.000 deltagere. Publikummæssigt kulminerede Roskilde Festival i 1990erne, hvor
der var over 100.000 deltagere pr. dag i fire dage og festivalen var da
oppe på otte scener.

 I 2002 holdt Roskilde Festival op med at få lavet tændstikæsker. I 2007 udsendte Roskilde Festival´s sponsor Tuborg på eget initiativ en æske for 2007 / 2008. |
